Digital disruption in Retail:
§ Developed a competitive strategy and redesigned the business model for a specialized retail chain facing important challenges and opportunities due to the increasing growth of online sales. The strategy led to a 2.3x growth plan in 3 years. Using Design Thinking + Agile framework designed a prototype of a Showroom store to replace the traditional brick and mortar store.
§ Conducted a market analysis and develop the strategy for a concrete fiber manufacturer startup that developed a new flexible steel fiber with important competitive differentiators using scrap tires.
Streamline operations before digitization:
§ Centralized, standardized and streamlined all key operational processes, implementing a “factory” process model in a retail bank, as preparatory phase for digitization.
§ Development of a governance model (and Family Constitution) for a family business in the Media industry with important conflicts among its members
§ Developed the concept (using Design Thinking + Agile), strategy and business plan for an $ 8 million projected value shared kitchen startup.
§ Develop the business case for a pop up store incubator and servicing company.
§ Developed market competitive information and tools ("Battle Cards") for Google’s cloud computing market unit aimed to compete more effectively with Amazon and Microsoft
Re Engineering operations - Project Management:
§ Purchasing and inventory optimization for a sports retail chain, obtaining a 30% reduction of inventory ($), maintaining a low index of "out of stock"
§ Project management optimization for a professional services firm, achieving a 30% increase in overall productivity
§ Develop a master plan and governance model for an important construction project with 6 parties involved. Thereafter we led the management of this project till its completion.
